This is an amazing place with delicious brewed in house beer and fresh oysters right on the riverfront. James is an amazing bartender with vast knowledge of the area, his beer selection and an overall great guy.

Looking for a respite from the heat and humidity of New Orleans? Wander into Crescent City Brewery to take advantage of the AC and enjoy a cold drink. Yes, they make their own brews (the Pils was tasty). They have a healthy food menu, too. If you are in the mood for oysters, this is the place to go. I have never seen oysters so big in my life. The oyster man - Shuckin' Chuck - is as entertaining as he is skilled with a knife. Did I mention that they have sidewalk service, too?

At Nola for conference, from Houston. I came here to try their in-house craft beers and they do not disappoint!! Tried their Pilsner, Mediterranean, IPA, and Red Stallion Beer. LOVED THEM! Best of all, they offer them in very large “tall” glasses. If you are a beer snob, quit worrying and get your behind here! You will not be disappointed. Was here on the Monday after having arrived on a Sunday and back here on Wednesday. Love jazz music!!

Cool microbrewery, I believe the only one that is currently operating in the French quarter - with tons of seating in a very historic building. Servers are great and if you’re lucky you can catch them brewing on weekdays which fills the air with great smells of the malted barley! Brewers are pretty good as well, you can get a flight of all 6 they have on tap - good classic examples and seasonals. It’s not distributed, so you have to get these here!

I can’t really rate the food because we didn’t go inside. Walking around the area looking for souvenirs we passed by and stopped for some drinks to go. It is something definitely unique about New Orleans, how you get to walk around drinking alcoholic beverages legally and restaurants offer you to go cups. Ebony was so patient and friendly while answering questions about local drinks ???? Highly recommended. Close to Jackson Square

Hands down the best oysters & the best shucker in New Orleans! Isiah not only has almost a decade of shucking experience, he knows his oysters, pays much attention to quality details for the customer & has an amazing personality & made sitting at the bar so much fun! We visited twice in the short 4 day trip!

My husband and I ate here twice we liked it so much the first time! The balcony seating was great, we enjoyed the people watching from above the street! Our server, Tina was fabulous! She made recommendations and gave excellent service! The first day we shared 3 small portions of the gumbo, red beans and rice, and seafood cheesecake. All 3 were excellent! The “cheesecake” was like a crab cake, ish… but way better! And a flight of 5 beers so we could try them all! The 2nd visit we had Creole Shrimp and Shrimp and Grits. Again both were excellent! Don’t pass this one by!

Out of all of the places I’ve eaten in New Orleans. This is the best. Perfectly seasoned food offering the best Oysters in the French Quarter. Make this your first stop in the French Quarter and you won’t be disappointed. Jambalaya is excellent with a soft shell crab. Summer IPA is a perfect beer.

Popped in for an oyster and a cocktail before boarding the Natchez. So glad we did. Great drinks and awesome service. Gator was the best at shucking and keeping us entertained. This place has a great vibe and will return.

Ask for Tina!! She's the BEST!!! She made our experience sooooooo enjoyable! She has a great sense of humor and is excellent at making sure you have what you need without rushing you! We were there for a very long time during the pride parade and she never once made us feel like we were a hassle like most servers would in that situation! She even came outside during the parade to say hello to our friends marching. The hurricane drink was good! The alligator was great although small portion for the price. The Caesar salad is probably one of the best I've had in a while the dressing and everything is definitely fresh! The bar tender however wasn't as pleasant when our friends went up to order shots because we had already paid our tab.
